Empowering Families through Agricultural Enterprise (in Partnership with Missionary Ventures)

Empowering families through Agricultural Enterprise is one way in which we can assist families out of poverty.   Money raised will be used to help families that are either still living in the Internally Displaced Peoples Camps (IDP Camps) or families that have recently left these camps and are now setting up home in the villages they once called home before they were driven out by rebels.

  For just £593 we can provide

Oxen and Plough.

This will allow the family to not just plough their own land much more efficiently but they will also be able to rent out their oxen and plough to other people, this will then also provide them with an income.

Without livestock African farmers, have to till their fields by hand. A team of oxen can plough an area in one and a half hours that would take eight days to till by hand.

  Swine Farming for just £648

For £648 we can provide Pigs, Pens, Pig Feed, Vet Treatment and Transport Costs. This will be enough to help a Ugandan family start their own Swine Farming Enterprise.

Poultry Farming for just £667

For just £667 we can provide Chickens, Cages, Chicken Food, Vet Treatment and Transport, all that is needed to start a small Poultry Business.

As well as rearing chickens for their own consumption they will be able to sell chickens and eggs to other local people to generate an income to support their families.
